Happy New Year Bison!!!

Time

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (selected verses)

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the Heaven. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to gather what you have planted; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.  A time to love and a time to hate. A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to keep silent, and a time to speak.  A time for war and a time for peace

Time….

By Carl Sandburg

Time is the coin of your life.  It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it is spent.  Be careful.  Do not let others spend it for you.

Take time to work.  It is the price of success. Take time to think.  It is the source of power.  Take time to play.  It is the secret of youth. Take time to read.  It is the road to discovery.  Take time to pray.  It is the key to eternity.

Take time to be friendly.  It is the road to happiness.  Take time to dream.  It is the highway to the stars.  Take time to love and be loved.  It is your way to show the nature of God.

Don’t spend precious time worrying what will happen.  Yesterday is a cancelled check.  Tomorrow is a promissory note.  Today is cash in hand.

Don’t brag about what you are going to do tomorrow.  Somebody might ask you what you did today.

May God bless you real good and give you the desires of your heart as you delight in him, Psalm 37:4.

A Bison Prayer

Dear Lord, wherever we find ourselves, let us celebrate more and worry less. When our faith begins to waver, help us to trust you more. Then, with praise on our lips and the love of Your son in our hearts, let us live courageously, faithfully, and thankfully this day and every day. Amen.
