Alternative Spring Break 2024

Submitted by Frances Washington

This year the Howard University Alternative Spring Break (HUASB) program is celebrating 30 years of continued service. This year’s theme is “A Legacy of Paying it Forward: 30 Years of Service.” The Howard University Club/Greater Washington, D.C. celebrated and recognized students who are providing community service in Washington, D.C.  On Sunday and Monday, we provided dinner for the students.  On Sunday, Mr. Ron F. Henderson, a Secret Service Agent engaged the students in a lively dialogue about life as a secret service agent.
