Overview

Eligibility - All graduates and honorary degree recipients of Howard University are eligible for membership. Former students who completed at least one year of studies at the university (and withdrew in good standing) are also eligible for membership. Faculty and staff of Howard University and spouses of members are eligible to become Associate Members of the Association.

Effective July 1, 2020, the Howard University Alumni Association transitioned to a new membership structure by introducing a “no dues” requirement for the Association and Constituent Units (CU or clubs).  Although clubs may no longer require members to pay an annual assessment, clubs may continue to fundraise and encourage alumni to become lifetime members.
