2025 Scholarship Recipients

Nneamaka Agwumezie is a freshman Architecture major from Prince George’s County, Md. She will pursue a career in Environmental Architecture as a Sustainable Design professional helping to enhance our understanding of cities.  She believes we must all be patient with ourselves, have passion and believe in ourselves.  Ms. Agwumezie has a 3.47 GPA.

 

Daryn Dickens is a sophomore Honors History major with a Sports Administration minor. She is from Alexandria, VA. and wants to pursue a career in sports law. She identifies preparation, perseverance and purpose as keys to success. A law degree is in her future, and she will concentrate in the areas of sports law, intellectual property and contract negotiations. Howard has instilled in her the value of academic excellence. Ms. Dickens has a 4.0 GPA.

 

Alexandra Farmer is a junior Political Science and Spanish double major from Montgomery County, Md.  She wants to use her education to drive meaningful changes in underserved communities.  Ms. Farmer has a 3.74 GPA.


Ryan Thompson is a freshman honors Marketing major from Prince George’s County, Md.  She plans to pursue a career bringing mental health resources to communities in need.  Ms. Thompson wants to ensure that messages are heard and that she can uplift, educate and empower. She is in the School of Business Executive Leadership Honors Program and is a member of the American Marketing Association. Ms. Thompson has a 4.0 GPA.
